I completed this page for my fiance's mom who is making a scrapbook for his sister. The cuties in the picture are my fiance and his younger brother.
I was surprised at how much I liked the end result taking an otherwise ugly sheet of patterned paper and making it into something cool!
I used a square paper punch to punch out all the sqaures and then inked the edges with 'Chestnut Roan' before sticking them down in a grid around the photo. I planned to add some buttons but 'real' ones seemed to bulky so I made some paper ones by punching out circles and then using a tiny circle punch to punch out the button holes.
The letters were done using Making Memories Philadelphia font foam alphabet stamps. I stamped the letters using brown acrylic paint onto cream card stock and then used an exacto knife to cut around them when the paint was dry.
